‘‘Sin Él” is a feature film about a young woman who is forced to keep her dad’s kidnapping a secret from her siblings and everyone she loves to ensure her dad’s safety while her mom works on a way to gather the ransom money. A secret that will shape Lucía’s familial relationships and her future.
PRODUCER: Luisa Gomez De Silva who has worked on projects such as Selena The Series, Miss Bala, Fear The Walking Dead, Little Boy, Babel, Pirates of the Caribbean, Titanic, among others.
FESTIVAL RUN: “La Chambre de Claire”
‘‘La Chambre de Claire” is a short film about a woman, Laura, who decides to communicate through a camera, after her sister in Law gets in accident leaving her in a coma. On the other hand, her future husband has a different perspective of how Laura should be handling this event.
PRODUCER: Miranda Guzman, She’s produced more than 20 short films and she’s now in post production for her first feature film, Loulou. Her work has been screened in more than 50 film festivals around the world and her short film Seven Rounds was sold to My Spotlight Independent and is now on Amazon Prime.
DIRECTOR: Noëlle Soulier, native of Colorado, USA and raised in France, who just finished directing her first feature film Loulou starring renowned actors such as the Emmy winner actress Patrika Darbo, Desean Terry, who’s currently acting in The Morning Show on Apple TV+ and Reiko Aylesworth who’s starred in Lost, Scorpion, The Good Doctor, etc.
RELEASED: “Hunter”
‘‘Hunter” is a short film about a bounty hunter with a troubled past who has his faith in humanity restored through an unlikely encounter with a bandit and his daughter.
PRODUCER: Alice Rehemutula and Katherin Hussein who has won awards for her work such as Best Woman Filmmaker at the Barcelona Planet Film Festival and Best Audience Award at the Feel the Reel International Film Festival for her work on Simon Says.
DIRECTOR: Shashank Varma, he wrote and directed multiple short films and won awards in many festivals. Two of his films premiered at the world famous Chinese Theater in Los Angeles.
AWARDS: Hunter was screened in several festivals such as The Panamanian Film Festival in Los Angeles, the 7th Indian Cine Film Festival in Mumbai and won a Certificate of Excellence, the Southern Shorts Awards were it won 9 awards for cinematography, acting, producing, wardrobe, editing, sound, and music; among others.
RELEASED: “TOGETHER AGAIN”
‘‘Together Again” is the first short film Kiara Beltran produced, wrote and starred in. It’s about a young medicine student who has to come to terms with her grandmother’s illness, the only person she has in her life.
PRODUCER: Laura Gudiño , she has produced several short films and a won Best Mexican short at The Rosarito Film Festival for her work in Día de Muertos.
DIRECTOR: Antonio Darwiche, he has won a series of awards for his body of work thus far including Best Short Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Editor.
AWARDS: It won 6 awards for Best Acting and it was screened at several film festivals such as the ones shown in the poster below.
